Sarg on craft over churn, paying makers over ad platforms, and designing essentials meant to be kept.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — April 16, 2026 — When Sam Sarg founded ManEmy™, the goal was not another fashion brand. It was a correction. In a market built on restocks, markdowns, and paid reach, ManEmy makes the opposite bet: fewer pieces, made in Italy, in limited runs, and never restocked.
“I’d rather pay the people who make the clothes than the platforms that sell them,” said Sarg. “The garment is the marketing. Everything else is noise.”
ManEmy’s essentials — oversized cotton sets and loungewear for women and men — are produced at a family-run atelier in the Veneto region of Italy, the same part of the country that supplies Europe’s established fashion houses. Each run is limited. Once a piece sells out, it is gone.
That restraint extends to the design language: a strict palette, a single discreet monogram, no slogans, no seasonal logo refresh. “Restraint at scale signals confidence,” Sarg said. “The only enemy you face is you.”
The philosophy is resonating with a customer tired of disposability — one who would rather own three pieces that last than thirty that don’t. Drop 01 is available now at manemy.com; Drop 02 follows this fall.
